Feel your lingerie
We all know that good underwear is the basis for perfect outfit. On the other hand, many women claim that they don't have proper lingerie, or that what they have in their wardrobe is simply not enough. Therefore, we bring you some tips to refresh your underwear collection and find new ways to boost your confidence and charisma.
Sort it. Find
the time to sort out all your lingerie ladders. Some pieces are
certainly buried in the corners, some are even forgotten. When you
sort and aline all, you'll probably gain better insight of what you
have.
Throw the
junk out. For some weird reason, many of us choose to keep
old, bleached or even ripped pieces of lingerie; either we feel sorry
to part from them, or just don't see they are not wearable anymore.
Whatever the reason, just remember that you won't wear it anymore and
get rid of it as soon as possible! Instead of keeping all those
stretched pants, bras with peering wires and shabby lace, make space
for new, funny pieces.
Open to colors.
Buying black or white is most simple; add some pastel hues and the
job is done. But if you'd like to renew your underwear collection,
opt for rich, vibrant colors, such as lemon yellow, sunny orange,
bordeaux, turquoise, emerald or any color that provide you enthusiasm
and inspiration.
Make it fit.
Although we would like to be like fashion models and fit into zero
size, it is obviously not the case. First, accept your body and learn
to love it. Then, respect it by buying right sizes, from lingerie to
outerwear. It goes for presents too – if you've received something
too big or too small, don't let it hang in your closet – forward it
to someone who will really enjoy it.
Take care about
it. We know, sometimes you are too tired to take off your make
up, let alone handwashing your fine laced bra. However, don't throw
it into washing machine. Leave it as it is, and wash when you have
time – it will pay you off in many ways.
Wear it. Most
women wear their finest pieces only in special occasions. Now,
think – how many special occasions have you experienced last year?
Or last two years? Don't wait for circumstances – make them happen.
Wearing fine underwear improves your mood and self confidence. So, go
for it and make every day an event.

Buying lingerie online – fun or fraud?
I purchase a lot of things online – clothing, books, particular food and so on. However, the idea of buying underwear, especially fine pieces, without seeing (and touching) it beforehand, at first sounded a bit awkward. When I was younger, it took me a lot of time to make up my mind even in the store – does this bra fit my breasts, how color looks on my skin, is it too decorated or too sporty and elegant, and, after all, do I really need any bra (Libra in Ascendent, yes). As the time passed, I've managed to build my own style, with precisely defined rules and principles. It doesn't mean I purchase only one type of bra or sets, or that the color are strictly limited on white, beige and black. From time to time, I like to get myself something unexpected, untypical for me, just to see how it works.
As I've learned what I love, what fits my figure and what to avoide, shopping became easier and faster. But then, a new challenge arose – time limits. As a working mother of three, I have barely time to take a shower, let alone visiting lingerie shop. So online purchasing often remains the only choice when I want to renew my underwear. During the time, and gaining some experience, I have determined a few basic rules that help me choose right pieces on right places.
1. Know your measures – It is surprising how many women actually don't know their proportions, subsequently wearing unfitting lingerie. Don't be lazy – take some time and the tape measure; write it down. Different retailers may have different sizes; always check your measures in retailer's size chart – you'll be surprised how many sizes and shapes you actually fit in!
2. Read the return policy terms – yes, those boring small letters no one ever reads. However, if you want to avoid misunderstandings and hustle, it's better to take some time and learn what you should expect if your bra doesn't fit.
3. Define your style – Although some exceptions are always welcomed, every one of us form some personal style through the time. Consider brands and retailers that match your personal taste, in order to spare your time and nerves.

Going beyond conventions - plus size models
Together with main fashion trends of previous years, an issue stands out as a reflection of major shifts in cultural standards. While catwalks slowly get closer to real life, the bodies of real women, in all shapes and sizes, become more acceptable in fashion industry. Not only designers embrace new standards in creating high fashion pieces (taking it as a challenge, not as an obstacle), but media and publicity overall begin to take off the seal of shame from women with curves. While some models still eat napkins to bluff their empty stomachs, faint from starving and get eating disorders as occupational hazard, the majority of fashion connected branches reconcile with reality and celebrate all forms of beauty.
The true pioneers of plus size acceptance are certainly women who didn't hesitate – today, we call them plus-size models. (I am certain that in the future, due to political correctness, this term will be abandoned as rude and offensive). Among them, Ashley Graham was the true star – beautiful women with unbeatable self-confidence made her way to front and inner pages of leading style magazines. Moreover, the lingerie commercial she starred in was too hot for America. Anyway, it was the proof that personality is what makes the woman hot.
Another curvy model who captured the attention of fashion industry was Tara Lynn. Fighting with weight until early twenties, she finally came to accept her body as it was, and even more – to make the best of it. This courage was life-changing not only for her, but also for millions of girls who has to deal with weight prejudices every day. Tara covered Elle Spain and France (which called her The Body), was H&M's model for Big is Beautiful campaign, Torrid and Lucky Brand... To be continued.
There are many more faces that appeared in recent few years – like Denise Bidot, Marina Bulatkina, Nadia Aboulhosn or Jennie Runk. All of them prove that beauty can't be found in strict industrial rules, fashion moldes and grievous eyes of starved models; beauty is here to celebrate life, feelings and senses; and of course, to put on some rags.

Rain Stories
“I always like walking in the rain, so no one can see me crying.”
- Charles Chaplin
It is not only a matter of prestige, but also history
The raincoat is the key item of the spring collection. The raincoat has become a global symbol of the style. Sometimes it is made of predefined materials, but sometimes it is made from PVC. There are no rules at all. The only important thing about raincoat is that it is wearable.
The raincoat rocked the catwalk at London fashion week
Originally raincoats were designed for British army by Aquascutum and Burberry. Actually Thomas Burberry modernized raincoats. Burberry trench coat is now the pride of the fashion classics.
Marlene Dietrich, old Hollywood starlet, gave a bit of femininity to the raincoat. Nowadays it is a women's weapon. During 1940′s trench coat was an item of glamour. It was worn by Audrey Hepburn, Sofia Loren, Brigitte Bardot. Great Britain and France are countries where raincoat is the most popular.
1963 - Brigitte Bardot was famous for the raincoat she wore;
1964 - Catherine Deneuve, French actress wore the raincoat on the set for the film “Les Parapluies de Cherbourg” ; 1970 - Jackie Kennedy Onassi;
1980-s - With the intention to achieve an elegant style Audrey Hepburn wore this clothing item;
1999 - Kate Moss promoted many Burberry fashion campaigns;
2000 - Emma Watson also decided for Burberry trench coats;
2011 - Gwyneth Paltrow also prefers trench coats
2013 - Anne Hathaway wore trench coat during weekend.
If you want to look stylish during rainy days but a raincoat. You can't make mistake with that. A great raincoat doesen't just keep you dry, you will aslo have a perfect styling for rainy days.
Make it rain!
“I'm an optimist, but I'm an optimist who carries a raincoat.”
- Harold Wilson
