Corset's origins come from Europe, but it is widely accepted in Japan and worn by Japanese girls like a some kind of a tool for promoting their own styles.

The first corset was created in Europe in the Middle Ages with the help of the Crusades. At that time corsets had a protective function, it looked like a military armor, and corsets were worn by both - men and women. Since 1900, corsets have normally accompanied the silhouette. Japanese began with the adoption of Western fashion culture in the mid-19th century. During time young Japanese created an unique and more recognizable street style. Factors that mostly influenced this style are Japanese music, traditions, cartoons and toys. Here you can find five most preferred Japanese street styles:

 - Ganguro style: a combination of blond hair, pastel clothes and artificial eyelashes.

The most popular style is Lolita style. It is one of the most famous styles of Japanese street fashion, which contains a huge number of different styles from different areas but with a common accent - sweet. From traditional Lolita - sweet/business/adult through childlike Lolita - inspired by Hello Kitty and other popular dolls and toys to the punk and gothic Lolita - experimental and inspired by Victorian age and many others. Lolita combinations are full of irresistible sweetness, attractiveness, beauty and sexuality.

Lolita fashion has become popular overnight, spreading its influence to other countries in the Asian regions: China, Korea and Taiwan, because in these countries women have similar figure and body shape. Japanese women are lower than European and American women.

According to this unique fashion style Japanese models are almost surreal. Girls look like a porcelain doll with irresistible eyes, snow-white skin and rosy cheeks, fantastic slopes and perfectly harmonious figures. One question for you dear Ladies at the end - Would you wear it? I probably would.
