Princess Philippa wore topcoat made from silk at her wedding in 1406. One of the most beautiful wedding dresses was worn by queen Victoria in 1840.

From 1837 to 1901 wedding dresses were made in white color, but also in ivory and beige color. These wedding dresses were very simply. The vail had always a special role. During industrial Revolution brides wore pink or green wedding dresses, but also they wore dresses in black color. It wasn't strange. During twenties

During sixties and seventies 

Brides wore wedding dresses in lemon yellow color, light pink or even green. Brides wore daisies in hair. Beach wedding were also very popular.

During eighties 

edding of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana was the most famous wedding. Her wedding dress was decorated with beads. Every woman wanted such wedding dress.
